This Bulletin board has been created for a number of purposes.
To keep us entertained as we add over time to " A day in the life of Tethers End
" - 101 uses for a Garden-Robot, soon to be a best seller. Also to share with
the public tips and ideas for uses of the ROBOT, and to list details of peoples
ROBOT's that have developed uses of their own which we think are worthy of
listing.
A day in the life of Tethers End..
He stumbled through the rank grass and tussocks
in the orchard, hurrying, but not quite running, past the old fruit
cage with the currant bushes, gooseberries but now sadly neglected
and found her against the bramble hedge which marked their boundary.
She was obviously distressed, not quite distraught, the strimmer
lying at her feet, " It won't start again " she said " I changed the
plug, and the petrol, Mother warned me about two strokes ". He
thrust the magazine before her, she read Garden-Robot , and
instantly bridled " isn't ONE enough for you ? " . Please read he
said. Choice of three power units B & S 4 Stroke, Mows, Mulcher's,
Weeds, Cultivates, Tows a tipping trailer, Seat unit, rotary brush
for the stables. (After turning out Mr Plod, and Lady Jayne, the
stables took over an hour every morning) OK go get my Guinness and I
will read it. She did, I looked at the web site, She pondered, '
Let's go for it ' ..

Given below are a few photographs of Tim Wades '
ROBOT ' . As you can see it has many uses which are not necessarily
agricultural in nature.. Tim is
based in Rhandirmwyn, nr Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, and uses his ROBOT amongst other
things to manage his woodland, using the timber which he forests to
create traditional furniture and buildings.
Tim actually designed a " Logging arch " to help with
the Management of Woodland, as can be seen in the photograph the
logs are very " tree like ". The ROBOT and the 13.5 Hp unit manages
it with ease. As we stated earlier it is the imagination that limits
the ROBOT's uses.
